In Bogota

16 °C

The flight was pretty bad. Six hours to Miami, five hour layover, four hours to Bogota. But, since then things have been going pretty well. I havent really gotten a chance to see the ¨sights¨ but Ive got a cell phone, enrolled my self in a TEFL course and have started to sort out the local bus system. The next step is to find an apartment somewhere near school which is on the opposite side of the city from La Candalaria where I´m staying now.

Classes start on the 1st of October and will be done seven weeks later. The course is longer than I wanted, but shortly after I finish schools should be hiring teachers for the following semester. My classes will be four hours a day, three days a week. That should give me plenty of time to explore Bogota and work on my Spanish.

Thats about it for now.

PS:

My cell number is: 011 57 3 14 385 0931...but thats gonna be expensive if you dont have SKYPE. For those non SKYPE users you can call me on my SKYPE number for the same cost of calling a Sacramento number. My SKYPE number is 916 273 9531, but if you call me there its gonna take a while before I get back to you because I dont check it often.
